He said the results from the just ended presidential and parliamentary results shows that Antwi Bosiako, who is popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has failed in his task in the region.
The opposition National Democratic Congress won four seats in the Ashanti region and increased its votes in the presidential election.
Some supporters of the party in the region are on the heels of the NPP executive demanding he abdicate his position for a poor showing in the just-ended presidential and parliamentary elections
Contributing to the calls, the NPP founding member said “Those making the calls are right. Their decision is also legitimate. I am yet to call Wontumi on the matter,” a founding father of the party in the region.
Outspoken and controversial Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has yet again made another bizarre claim.
Chairman Wontumi in an interview on the Wontumi Morning Show stated that Flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, John Mahama is being haunted by the ghosts of Atta Mils and J.J Rawlings.
“John Mahama connived with certain pastors to wish death on President Akufo-Addo but today God didn’t listen to their request and has maintained him President.”
“They even said he won’t live to see 7th December, 2020…but the problem with the NDC is how Atta Mills, Amissah-Arthur and Rawlings mysteriously lost their lives”, the NPP Chairman known as Chairman Wontumi said.
