republican party is not doing anything to restrain these impulses. if anything by their refusal to sanction gosar and boebert, they re encouraging it. is that why this brazen stupidity is being allowed to fester in this country? when you have a former president who defies his own covid protocol and goes to a debate and what have you, and then you have these other just wack jobs, is it because republicans won t hold the leadership won t hold it to account or mainstream republicans? why is this being allowed? i don t understand it. well, look, i think that is the single biggest factor allowing for the radicalization of american politics, that, you know, the mainstream republicans, the roughly one-quarter of the party that is not and i don t know if it
