Reynolds, i am the Current National ambassador for young peoples literature. Coming to you from my home in washington dc im currently in my office where i do all my work you can see the books behind me. Im also the author of stamped racism, antiracism, and you. I should say on the coauthor of the book. It came about because there is a wonderful great scholar named biebers candy, abhe published a book in 2016 called stamped from the beginning a history of racism and policies he won the National Book award, we met at the National Book award and it was then that ab shortly after that he asked me to somehow translate all this work. He had over 600 pages of scholarship about history he wanted to figure out a way for that book to be translated into something for young ayounger people.
