providing some of the video that we are seeing, the fort lauderdale gay men s chorus provided a statement to that affiliate station of ours saying that the people who were injured, one person now has died, were part of the gay men s chorus. they also added that the driver was also a part of the chorus family. and that they do not believe that this was an attack on the lbgtq community. of course, we are still trying to learn more about that. i have reached out to the chorus to see if they can share some more information. but just a really devastating thing for so many people to witness as they were about to embark and participate in something really joyful. so here is a witness talking about what they saw as well as the authorities on what they know now. can t go anywhere anymore without fear for your safety and fear area your life. it s very, very sad.
