She was replaced by two associate ministers Muhammad Yaseen, MLA for Calgary-North, who was sworn in as the new associate minister of immigration and multiculturalism, and Whitney Issik, the MLA for Calgary-Glenmore, who was named the associate minister of the status of women and the chief government whip.
