Soroptimist International St Vincent and the Grenadines (SISVG) continues to fulfil its social responsibility and will once again assist several entities during the Yuletide season. Female inmates of Her Majesty’s Prisons received donations of personal items from The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Chapter of Soroptimist International (SVGSI), as part of the Chapter’s project: ‘Standing up for Women Behind Bars’.
The presentation was made on April 1 by SVGSI President- Ikarmola Laborde and was received by Matron of the Female Prison Cassandra McFe, in the company of Superintendent of Prisons Timothy Hazelwood and prospective Soroptimist International member, Aveng Murphy.
