Army birthday
Fort Hood will celebrate the Armyâs 246th birthday with a celebration on Sadowski Parade Field from 3-8 p.m. Monday.
The celebration will include a cake cutting, retreat ceremony, free concert by the 1st Cavalry Division Band, a virtual concert by Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band, as well as activities for children.
Womenâs Army Corps 5K
The Womenâs Army Corps Veterans, in celebration of Womenâs Veterans Day, will host a 5K run/walk from 8-10 a.m. Saturday at Lions Club Park in Killeen.
