Oman Cancer Association appoints new director By: Times News Service Muscat: Effective 1 May 2021, Faiqa bint Ali Al Sinawi assumed the role of Director of the Oman Cancer Association. This is a newly created position with Al Sinawi being the first in the association’s 21 -year-history to be appointed to the role. She will report directly to the Board of Directors, who have been assigned as per the elections held on March 31, 2021. Her responsibilities will include supervision of the Association’s flagship initiatives: the Mobile Mammography Unit (MMU) and Dar Al Hanan (DH) as well as tracking policy implementation across the sectors OCA engages in, in close coordination with the relevant government authorities, our sponsors and partners, as well as management of all programmes and projects underway and forecast for the next 5 years.
