New Chair of the Commission on Human Medicines
Professor Sir Munir Pirmohamed has been appointed by the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care as Chair of the Commission on Human Medicines (CHM).

CHM provides independent expert advice to ministers on the safety, quality and efficacy of medicines. It is an advisory non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Department of Health and Social Care.

Experts at the Wolfson Centre for Bulk Solids Handling Technology, University of Greenwich have joined forces with Industry giants Schenck Process UK Ltd to offer a fully paid 3 year studentship to look at how the digitalisation of pneumatic conveying systems can help improve the manufacturing process.
