A day after a nursing mother pup was found abandoned in Wolcott, she has been reunited with some of her babies. Wolcott Animal Control appealed to the public.
The cries from the distressed mama dog were heartbreaking.
The gray juvenile female dog, which had been brought to the Wolcott Dog Pound by the animal control officer after a Good Samaritan found the pooch wandering the streets, was captured on video at the pound crying for her newborn puppies.
Wolcott Animal Control is asking for help locating lost puppies and finding whoever is responsible for abandoning their mother. A passerby found the young.
