Producer Boney Kapoor recently revealed that veteran actor Sanjeev Kumar came to his rescue and lent him the money needed to kickstart Woh Saat Din, which launched Anil Kapoor as a lead actor.
In an interview, Boney Kapoor revealed that megastar Amitabh Bachchan was supposed to headline the film Mr. India instead of Anil Kapoor. Ramesh Sippy was initially planned as the director.
Apart from Anil Kapoor, Mr. India also featured the late actors Sridevi and Amrish Puri in the leading roles. The film was bankrolled by Anil's father Surinder Kapoor and his brother Boney Kapoor.
