Plans for new date and location of Gate To Southwell Festival following this year s postponement | Updated: 08:46, 22 December 2020 After its postponement this year, plans are being drawn up for the return of the Gate To Southwell Festival Ââ with a new date and location. In previous years, the event has taken place in June at Southwell Racecourse. However, organisers are planning for next yearâs festival to be held from Thursday, September 2, to Sunday, September 5, at Kirklington. Anxo Lorenzo Band at Gate To Southwell Festival. (43609624) Having cancelled this year because of the coronavirus pandemic, organisers are confident the four days of folk, root and acoustic music will go ahead in 2021.
