JOHNSTOWN The Greater Johnstown School District will move forward Tuesday with plans to bring students from Warren Street Elementary School in grades third through sixth back to in-person learning four days a week after the district’s spring break.
Monday will be a fully remote day for all Warren Street students, giving staff necessary time to acclimate to their new classrooms.
In order to satisfy six-foot social distancing requirements, a district release issued Thursday said students and teachers will be split into two buildings for the remainder of the school year, with grades three and four staying at Warren Street and grades five and six moving to the Knox Building, which currently houses district administrators, pre-K and several BOCES s
