Taipei, July 24 (CNA) With Typhoon In-Fa moving away from Taiwan, a sea warning was lifted by the Central Weather Bureau (CWB) Saturday morning, but the bureau warned there could still be heavy rain caused by the storm s periphery.
At 11:30 a.m., a sea warning which was imposed as a result of In-Fa s impact on Taiwan s surrounding waters on Wednesday night was removed, while southwesterly air flows resulting from the storm are expected to continue to bring heavy rain to Taiwan, the CWB said.

Taipei, July 23 (CNA) With Typhoon In-Fa veering northward at a faster speed, the chance of it impacting Taiwan and prompting the need for a land warning to be issued has been reduced, the Central Weather Bureau (CWB) said on Friday.
The CWB s forecaster Lin Ping-yu (林稟煜) said Typhoon In-Fa has sped up its pace and turned northward away from Taiwan and is expected to come closest to Taiwan Wednesday night or Thursday.
However, due to the change in the typhoon s trajectory, the chance for the CWB to issue a land warning has been reduced, Lin said, although he warned the storm will still bring heavy rain and strong winds to Taiwan.

Temperatures around Taiwan are forecast to hit highs of between 33 and 35 degrees Celsius, the CWB said.
