Weekly COVID-19 Statistics Update: March 31 – April 6

Today: 25 new cases As of today, all New Yorkers aged 16 and over are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. The Oswego County Health Department, under New York State Department of Health guidelines, is vaccinating anyone 18 years and older. Proof of age is required and must be provided at the vaccination site. Individuals that are 16 or 17 years old are eligible for the Pfizer vaccine only and must go to a clinic where Pfizer is offered. Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are only approved for those 18 and older. Note – Oswego County Today now reports the COVID-19 statistics weekly on Tuesdays instead of Monday through Friday. Our next report will be Tuesday, April 13, 2021.
