News from overnight Milwaukee Police are investigating a double shooting. It happened just after midn men ages 38 and 46 were shot when they confronted another man in the alley behind their home. The suspect then took off on foot. Both men were treated for nonlife threatening injuries. Milwaukee police also investigating another shooting from overnight. This one happened near 24th and townsend just after one oclock this morning. Police have not yet released any other details. Those shootings are just the latest in a violent weekend in milwaukee. Seven people shot two of them fatally. Separate incidents, all since 4 pm saturday afternoon. Shootings were reported throughout the city fox6s Jonathon Gregg has the latest on the gun violence. Condition. The latest shootings happened very early this morning. The first was at 43rd and Silver Spring two men were shot when the confronted another man in the alley behind their homes. The suspect fled on foot. A 38 year old man and 46 year old man suffered non life threatening injuries. Less than an hour later. There was a report of another shooting at 24th and townsend. Police have not released any details on that incident. Over the separate shootings incidents. Those include a homicide at 38th and meinecke. Another one near 66th and lisbon. And a shooting near 31st and villard. That left a woman in critical condition.
