As pandemic restrictions gradually ease, the Goderich Flyers junior hockey organization has begun to plan for the future.
The Provincial Junior Hockey League (PJHL) has chosen Oct. 1, 2021 as the potential start date for its regular season.

Flyers general manager Doug Timmermans is already working towards that date, but questions remain regarding provincial and local Health Unit parameters.
To be determined are matters such as whether normal-sized rosters can be used for tryouts and games, whether body-contact will be allowed, what vaccination requirements might be imposed, and whether spectators can attend the games.
