A Southwestern Ontario man survived a serious mid-summer rollover on the busy provincial highway between Sarnia and Strathroy and fled into a bean field – while carrying a guitar – with the OPP’s emergency response team and canine unit not far behind.
All because of some stolen licence plates.

“The accused went on quite an adventure over some stolen licence plates,” David Rows, Lambton’s Crown attorney, said recently in a virtual, COVID-safe Sarnia courtroom.
