A WIRRAL rugby club s ten-year project to improve its player and community facilities has been completed following a major funding deal. COVID-19 lockdown and restrictions delayed improvements to Eastham-based Anselmians RUFC s work on a high-end event space and community hub. West Kirby-based Bathgate Business Finance specialist secured the £100,000 funding needed to complete the project. The club is preparing to open its clubhouse Eastham Pavilion to guests and the local community from next Monday, when planned easing of COVID-19 restrictions will permit tables of six to dine indoors.
