We knew it wasn t going to be like the reverse fixture last month, when we beat them 9-0, said Saxons manager Gary Lee Jamieson. And you could see it from minute one what their intentions were, ruffle our feathers. leaving one on us is a shout I heard a few times. They have made astute new signings from a higher level to give them a boost to the conclusion of their first season in the Chester and Wirral Football League. And they are able to welcome back players to full fitness prior to the return to training on Monday, March 29 – the day the Government’s easing of coronavirus lockdown restrictions is earmarked to allow organised outdoor team sport to spring into action.
