Netflix has announced that production on the upcoming second season of their live-action fantasy series
Fate: The Winx Saga has officially begun in Ireland. The announcement also comes with the release of a brand new video which you can check out below, offering us a preview of the cast’s first table read for Season 2.
In addition, the streamer has also enlisted three new cast members for the new season in the form of Brandon Grace, Éanna Hardwicke, and Paulina Chávez. Grace is set to portray the role of Grey, with Hardwick cast to play Sebastian. As for Chávez, she has officially been tapped for the role of Flora, who in the animated series is one of the main leads and founding members of the Winx Club.

The Winx Saga has become a very popular new Netflix series and it was only right the streaming service graced us with another season! For those of us who are still yet to dive deep into this mash-up of Harry Potter meets Riverdale, the series is based on the Nickelodeon cartoon Winx Club. It follows Abigail Bloom, (played by Abigail Cowen) a Californian teenager who after a devastating accident, learns she is in fact a fairy!
In order to learn how to harness her power, Bloom moves to a magical boarding school in the ‘Otherworld’ where she not only has to come to terms with her newfound powers but must also combat against monsters who threaten their very existence and of course they couldn’t leave out the dangerous charm of some cute boys.

Netflix has some good news for fans of the Winx Club. The streaming giant has renewed the live-action Fate: The Winx Saga for a second season.
The first season only consisted of six episodes and Netflix will expand the number of episodes for the second season.
Fate: The Winx Saga renewed for Season 2
Fate: The Winx Saga Season 1 hit Netflix in January, so this is a quick renewal for the streaming service. It means that the early viewing numbers were big enough to warrant more of the series, despite lukewarm reviews.
