All the movies and TV shows filming in Massachusetts in 2021

Despite a full year of pandemic lockdowns and restrictions, the cameras have still been rolling in the Massachusetts film industry. Probably the biggest title of the year Adam McKay’s star-studded Netflix comedy “Don’t Look Up” wrapped filming in February. But there are still plenty of TV shows and movies currently in production, as well as others that are scheduled to begin filming later this year. Here are all of the major movies and TV shows filming in Massachusetts in 2021, as well as everything we currently know about them. American Horror Story: Pilgrim Begins Filming in Provincetown

Before the quarantine was in full effect, I rarely ever binge-watched anything since I never had the time. Well, that changed immediately once my calendar began to open up wide, introducing me to the wonderful world of Netflix, Hulu and streaming platforms in general. Among those bingey shows was  American Horror Story and I honestly couldn t get enough of it. So when news came down the pipeline that AHS was spotted down on the Cape in Provincetown, my inner geek came out and I had to do a little researching. If you are a fan of the series and are up to date, you know that they are currently filming the 10th and newest season titled “Pilgrim. Now, what better place to film this other than our very own Provincetown, Massachusetts? Before they arrived in Plymouth, P-Town it was the landing area for the settlers which we refer to as Pilgrims.

‘American Horror Story’ films in Provincetown: Finn Wittrock, Massachusetts native, seen on Commercial Street filming ‘Pilgrim’ Updated Mar 02, 2021; Facebook Share Filming of “American Horror Story’s” latest season is well underway in Provincetown, and people are seeing some of the show’s biggest actors. This week Finn Wittrock, a Massachusetts native and known for playing Dandy Mott and Tristan Duffy in other seasons, was seen on Commercial Street in Provincetown. Wittrock was born in Lenox, and moved to Los Angeles when he was 12-years-old. This season is known as “Pilgrim” and is being filmed in multiple locations in Provincetown. The season also includes a number of big name actors, such as Macaulay Culkin, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson.
