Local cuisine tour de force Local produce will be on show at the Plume degustation dinner. The chefs at Plume Restaurant are creating a special five course ‘Best of Plume’ degustation menu to celebrate the Auckland Elemental Festival and Matakana Coast’s ‘Terroir to my Winter Table’ feast. The evening will be held on July 16, from 6.30pm. Owner Farida Cooper says the menu will feature oysters from Matakana, artisan breads made by Plume Cafe baker Heiko, home grown and prepared sorrel and parsley pesto, fish from Lee Fisheries, lamb from Matakana Butchery and a palate cleansing grape juice sorbet made by Charlies Gelato.
