Regina s decades-old north vs. south of Dewdney Avenue rivalry explained
For decades, a rivalry has been brewing between those living in Regina’s north and south. Some say the dividing line is Dewdney Avenue, while others say it’s the train tracks near Mosaic Stadium. Regardless, the stereotypes remain the same: north enders are “rough and tough,” while south enders are labelled “cake eaters.”

In Regina, four public schools were affected.
One person each at Marion McVeety School, Winston Knoll Collegiate, George Lee School and Dr. George Ferguson School tested positive. Close contacts will move to online learning until school returns from the February break on Feb. 22.
There was also one infection at Martin Collegiate, but there were no close contacts, so all classes will continue normally.
One classroom was closed after a positive test at Holy Rosary School. The division did not specify a return date for the affected students in its media release.
In Saskatoon, there is one new case at St. Anne School. Close contacts will switch to remote learning, according to the division.
