million for the reconstruction
of the Winslow Levee, Navajo
County announced May 11.
Community and Tribal leaders met with Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema this week in Winslow in recognition of full funding granted for the Winslow Levee Project.
Tribal, county and local leaders are applauding the approval of a levee project near Winslow. It’s designed to prevent flooding in the city and several tribal communities that’ve been under threat for years because of the aging system.
