Winery Brush Fire Breaks Out Near Agua Dulce
The Winery brush fire broke out near Agua Dulce Monday, prompting a response from firefighters.
The brush fire, dubbed the Winery Fire, was first reported to firefighters around 12 p.m. Monday on Agua Dulce Canyon Road near Sierra Highway in Agua Dulce, said Sean Ferguson, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
As of 12:15 p.m., the fire is currently burning in medium fuels with no structures threatened, according to Fire officials.
UPDATE (3:00 p.m.): The fire affected three-fourths of an acre of land, according to Franklin Lopez, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Forward progression of the fire was stopped at approximately 12:39 p.m. after 25 minutes on-scene, according to Los Angeles County Fire officials.
