Dunkin Is Adding Coconut Milk as a Non-Dairy Option Nationwide Mike Pomranz © Provided by Food & Wine Dunkin Dunkin may be known for its coffee, but over the past couple of years, the chain has put plenty of energy into coffee s favorite companion: milk. Last year, the brand was an early adopter of the oat milk trend, adding the non-dairy option nationwide. Now, another plant-based milk alternative is getting the nod: coconut milk. Dunkin says coconut milk will begin rolling out to locations nationwide this Thursday, April 28 joining the aforementioned oat milk and almond milk (which was launched in 2014) as the three non-dairy options customers can use to customize any of the chain s beverages. (Not that it s a competition, but that still leaves Dunkin one milk alternative behind Starbucks which added soymilk in 1997, coconut milk in 2015, almond milk in 2016, and oat milk last month.)
