RICHLAND, Wash.- A researcher with Washington State University Viticulture and Enology program is looking for participants in a Chardonnay sensory panel.
There are 17 researchers working on the issue of smoke-exposed wine grapes between University of California-Davis, Oregon State University, and Washington State University.
Students work with faculty and with commercial wineries and if their Blended Learning wine turns out well, it’s bottled and sold with the student’s name adorning the label. Proceeds are funneled back into the program.
