New Severance police chief Ken Chavez and Windsor Severance fire chief Chris Angermuller were at Severance Town Hall Wednesday evening for a “Meet the Chiefs” event. Chavez made his way to Severance after more than four decades in Denver, with a 10-month stop in Leadville in between. Angermuller has bounced around a little more, spending 17 of his 25-year career in Overland Park, Kansas, before making stops in Arizona and on the Western Slope.
In a short Facebook post, the department said at approximately 11:40 a.m. Friday it responded with police and emergency services from UCHealth to traffic accident with unknown injuries at the park.
