Microsoft has been releasing more and more PowerToys for Windows 10 and Windows 11. This open-source project adds many powerful features to Windows, from a bulk file renamer to an Alt+Tab alternative that lets you search for windows from your keyboard.
While there have been dozens of PowerToys releases since Microsoft revived the much-loved utilities collection for the Windows 11 era, the software is still in preview.
Microsoft is working on new and improved PowerToys plugins that will let you show the date and time in various formats, plus track or end the running processes without launching Task Manager.
It may only be a few days since Microsoft released PowerToys v0.55.0 complete with new utilities, but there is already another update available to install.
