Eligible producers must live within Minnesota’s wolf range, as designated by the Minnesota DNR, or on property determined by the commissioner of the MDA to be affected by wolf-livestock conflicts.
Although attendees repeatedly asked if there was some type of land swap or plan for replacing the lost public hunting access, habitat, and DNR properties, no firm answer was given.
