UConn approves 60 acre transfer to state; new technical high school planned

The University of Connecticut Board of Trustees Wednesday morning unanimously approved the transfer of UConn-owned land formerly home to the Bergin Correctional Institution back to the state for the construction of a regional technical high school. The board unanimously approved the sale without discussion. There are no costs associated with the transfer, officials said.
