[ inaudible ] several things have happened over the pastle of minutes. an injured police officer evacuated from the scene, he had a bit of a limp. i m not sure what that came from. he was attended to by the many medical personnel on the scene there. also way down the street on the vicinity of where that apartment appears to be.
the protests around the country have been largely peaceful. in philadelphia, gathering at city hall for another die-in ceremony. the crowd was chanting no justice throughout the event. in washington, demonstrators marched through the dupont circle neighborhood chanting i can t breathe. the protesters lasted several hours before that winded down. in ferguson, missouri, michael brown s stepfather says he is sorry for his emotional outburst. his call to burn this down came the night a grand jury decided not to indict a police officer in his stepson s death. cnn s george howell has the latest from ferguson. reporter: police in ferguson are looking back at what happened last week. they are determined to find out why, what started the looting and rioting that we saw. they are focusing on video and that audio.
