As you can imagine, these are tough conditions for a firefighter to be fighting a fire on. They threw a lot of water on this. Water as it hit the ground almost instantly froze. The reason is its so dangerous with all the water freezing, not only dangerous for the residents but firefighters as well are moving around hoses and trying to do it on frozen ground.
