Amy Ray, best known as one-half of the Indigo Girls, has been chasing her musical inspirations for decades. The singer-songwriter will be bringing her solo project, a roots-inflected Americana band, to Santa Fe for a show at Tumbleroot Brewery and Distillery.
Residents who are interested in serving on the Carson City Cultural Commission, which serves as the official advisor to the Carson City Board of Supervisors on matters related to the cultural life of the community, are encouraged to apply for a "Citizen-at-Large" open seat. Applications are being accept now though Feb. 7.
