WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — The Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin and Win Brockmeyer Memorial Committee has awarded the 2020 Win Brockmeyer Memorial Scholarship to D.C. Everest’s Orion Boe. Boe, a two-way player for the Evergreens, was named first-team All-Conference as a linebacker and was also named the league’s defensive player of the year. Boe also finished as a finalist for the John Anderson Award which goes to the best prep Linebacker in the state and was voted all-region at the position. Offensively, Boe was the primary running back for the Evergreens in 2019 while also playing nose tackle on defense. He shifted to more of a goal-line/fullback role in 2020 while also moving to linebacker.
