Wiltshire Digital Drive shortlisted for Small Award | The Wiltshire Gazette and Herald

WILTSHIRE Digital Drive has been chosen as a finalist in the Mission Possible category for best social enterprise at this year’s Small Awards. Now in its fifth year, The Small Awards is a nationwide search for the smallest and greatest firms in the UK, across all sectors. It is organised annually by Small Business Britain, which champions, inspires and accelerates small businesses in the UK. The Laptops for Home Schoolers campaign, launched in May 2020 by Westbury-based Priority IT, was such a success that Naturally Social, a Corsham communications agency, and Bath accountants Turner and Partners, joined forces with the IT company to ensure the project was sustainable.

Mogers Drewett back Wiltshire Digital Drive with new campaign

Simon Walker As home-schooling rumbles on, the team at Mogers Drewett have launched its ‘Fifty in February’ Campaign in support of the Wiltshire Digital Drive. The initiative was set up last year to refurbish and recycle donated laptops to give back to the community. In February, the law firm pledged to collect and donate 50 laptops by asking friends, colleagues and local businesses to donate any unwanted laptops. With offices in Bath, Frome, Sherborne and Wells, and to help with the collection, the team are broadening the search across its other offices. Simon Walker, solicitor in the family team said: “More and more families are reaching out for much needed laptops to enable them to stay connected at this time and so we are delighted to be launching this campaign in February”
