STORM LAKE Winning four relays and adding another individual top finish to go with four runner-up efforts, the Spencer boys placed just behind Le Mars at the Storm Lake Invitational Monday, finishing 140-125.
Wilson Hookfin, Tigers head coach said the “kids competed well. We had some PRs in some relays the 4x400 and the sprint medley. Both races will need to get faster in order to compete at state in those events but we are headed in the right direction.”

CHEROKEE At the boys Tomahawk Relays, Monday, Spencer bested MOC-Floyd Valley by nine points 159-150 for the team title, riding seven first place finishes in seven events, to go with four individual titles.
As always, Tiger coach Wilson Hookfin, offered appreciation, first and foremost to higher power.
