Buildings of various kinds are to be built the coming season. Of those to be built of brick, M. Rutan will put up a building three stories high on the corner next south of the Fargo & Belknap block. S.R. Stevens will put up a brick joining the Griffith & Derby block on the north. Mrs. M.H. Nichols will put up two stores, so that when completed there will be one continuous brick block commencing on the south with the Lawton store and ending with the Cole & Bennett store on the north. Of brick residences, mention is made of two, one for Dr. Avery and one for C.J. Church, and yet another by Maj. C.C. Ellsworth.
