The popular free concert series Rockin' Robbins will return to Robbins Island Regional Park this summer. The first concert is slated for Tuesday, July 16.
The Willmar Rotary Club announced the Rockin' Robbins bands at a special reveal party April 25. The concerts will take place July 11, July 18, July 25 and Aug. 1 at Robbins Island in Willmar.
Construction will officially begin on the new Flags of Honor Veterans Memorial in Willmar with a groundbreaking ceremony Monday. The Veterans Central Council has been working for several years to update the memorial. A lease agreement between the city and the nonprofit was approved June 7 and allows the Veterans Central Council to use the memorial for ceremonies and public events.
