There is flooding on State Highway 1 in Aotea, north of Wellington. “Motorists are urged to drive to the conditions, considering the likelihood of surface flooding, trees down and land slips this afternoon.” Wellington Water is also advising motorists to expect delays on State Highway 1 north of Wellington after a wastewater main burst north of the Aotea lagoon in Porirua, sending sewage spilling out onto the highway.
