Many of Missoula’s Democratic candidates for the Legislature support having biologists, not politicians, make state wildlife decisions and improving hunter-landowner relations, based upon responses provided during a public conservation forum. Sue Orr writes, I’m not willing to hand over the state to a super majority of Republicans who want to let the Governor appoint Supreme Court members, allow our public lands to become the playground of wealthy big game hunters, to the exclusion of Montanan’s just trying to fill their freezers for the winter.
LouAnn Hansen writes, Montana needs and deserves level-headed, common-sense candidates elected to the Legislature who will carry and promote the passage of sensible bills benefiting all hardworking Montanans.
