Police officers and deputies across Alabama came together on July 4 to help a man with autism who had been robbed and stranded in Montgomery get home to Indianapolis.
Willinaus Bolin, 23, was on his way to Florida when he was robbed and pushed out of a car at a Montgomery gas station, according to a Facebook post. Bolin had no cash or cell phone when officers from the Montgomery Police Department arrived.
According tot he Facebook post, officers believed his traveling companions took advantage of Bolin to steal money he had saved mowing lawns.
