A former softball coach who sexually assaulted one of his players in Upper Bucks will spend up to 13 years in prison.
On Monday, Weston Loxley, 32, was sentenced to 6 ½ to 13 years in state prison, followed by seven years of probation. I can only hope that one day people can forgive me, Loxley said during his hearing.
Court documents state Loxley coached the girl, then 14, for the Williams Township Athletic Association (WTAA) for a few months in summer 2017 into the beginning of 2018.
The two had sex regularly starting in October 2017, court documents state. Sexual contact between the two continued until July 2019, according to state police.
