Developing this morning, out of manatee county, a deputy shoots and kills a man who he says charged at him with a knife. The sheriff says it all started when deputies responded to a fight at a home on bookelia circle in bradenton. A woman called 9 11 to say her husband 50 year old Marc Stoddart had been drinking and threatening to hurt them both with a knife.
