Were at purple beach drive not far from soap stone drive. Look at this neighborhood. You can see most if not all of it and snow covered and quite icy. You can hear crunching and some of what melted earlier today started to refreeze and as you heard doug and veronica mentio. , and preparing to head out, this lady canceled her plans because shes worried about the refreeze. The government said today that the islamic terrorists who beheaded the american journalist james foley had demanded 132 million in ransom. The demands were made to his employer and his family over the last year. U. S. Policy, of course, does not allow paying ransoms. The disclosures came as defense secretary chuck hagel issued a dire new assessment of the threat posed by isis, and new details were released about the failed attempt to rescue foley. Reporter the hostages, including foley and three others, were thought to be at this camp inside an oil refinery in northern syria, an area controlled by isis.
