As youve heard from several of the Board Members today, the resources are there so theyre not scrambling to get resources to make should happen, whithis if you look at the list, i think most schools would want those to happen, but they have to pick and choose from their own budget, and what im saying is its incumbent on me to look at our own budget, but also to go out and raise the resources so that these things are happening at these sites and schools arent having to come out of their own budgets, so whats different is these components will be in both sets of schools, whatever column that those schools are in, but they will be centrally allocated resources to make sure its happening in the way it needs to happen for students. Great, and i think how i im just trying to also identify what areas i can be helpful, and i think it sounds like were going to be needing to do some fund raising outside of what we already do, as well as think about other resources that are available, and so that
I think thats on us, so as community members, we need to show up. If our expectation is that we collectively need to do the Work Together to get our kids to where we need to be, so i want to appreciate your willingness to also not start from scratch and build on what we are already doing, because i do believe that there is strength in many of the areas, and we also have some areas where were weak. And you called a lot of that out, and i want to continue to work from an asset based model and acknowledging when we were actually in the areas that we are doing well, because we it always feels like we are doing nothing, and i want to understand what we will be doing differently, and what youll need from us to be successful. Because the areas many of the priorities that youve identified are priorities that weve all identified in the past. Theyre you know, your professional capacity, instructional guidance, you know, transforming mindsets, i think thats actually a new one that is is really gr
Doing nothing, and i want to understand what we will be doing differently, and what youll need from us to be successful. Because the areas many of the priorities that youve identified are priorities that weve all identified in the past. Theyre you know, your professional capacity, instructional guidance, you know, transforming mindsets, i think thats actually a new one that is is really great to see, the collaborative culture, we need to build a lot more of that, and im glad youre calling that out, high quality staff, so there are many things that we know we need, and i want to and im glad youre youre identifying the two ways in which we need to approach this, because there is a lot that we need to to recognize, but i want to know i just want to understand what well be doing differently and what youll need for us to succeed. So i think for example, in both cadres of schools, there are certain parts of those the strategies that are happening, so for example, there may be a professional
Reinforces their worldview. I dont know how that stops, but it reminds me that what is best for our users is not necessarily from monster. Com. I want to circle back to the startups. If they are entering a regulated industry the risk reward ratio is entirely different for a Civil Servant than an entrepreneur. The first time there is a fatal accident, everyone will look to the Government Official that let that service operate. The risk is extreme, but there is no reward. If youre starting at that service, the reward is a potential Million Dollar enterprise. The Civil Servant will be thinking, do no harm, take no risk. You need to keep that in mind. Theres really no good way around that. Except educating Government Officials as to what your service will do no harm. I think sometimes the entrepreneur who is charging into the room does not realize the person theyre meeting with, the Government Official, there is risk avoidance for a reason. Well, this is a really stimulating an interesting
Next question. Good morning. Larry, this is for you. In a macro environment with information, what companies are technologies do we need to conduit this information. What repositories can we develop . I think we have most of the Core Technology in place. The cloud, highspeed networks. We now talk about 4g, but we did a conference late last year on 5g coming in the next decade. Even crazier than the last. Who is going to lead that . You can make the case economically that it could be the providers, it could be the network engineers, like the verizon. Or it could be information experts at google and so on. All of those are plausible. Probably some combination thereof. I think what ends up happening in this world of exploding opportunity and data and innovation, we go through eras of chaos and then we try to organize it. And then we go to chaos and organize it again. And you can see that if you look at the web. Google tried to organize it and then it explodes. Then we do other things to c
