Brandon Williams scored a second-minute full-debut own goal to give the Royals an early lead but Cameron Humphreys equalised in first-half injury time, the Freddie Ladapo put the Blues in front on 59 before Ehibhatiomhan levelled three minutes from time but his teammates missed three of their penalties to see Town through.
