John McCole Sr., 84, a Navy veteran who joined the FDNY in 1961 and served in Engine 24 in Manhattan and Engine 155 on Staten Island before retiring after 30 years, died Dec. 26, 2020.
Dr. Robert D. Rosa, 80, a retired dentist who enjoyed hunting, fishing and time with family, died Dec. 24, 2020.

William P. Krolick, 96, a Navy veteran of World War II, who went on to a 30-plus year career as a hero firefighter, died Dec. 25, 2020.
Vincent J. Passaro, 86, a Navy veteran who at one time owned a pizzeria on Staten Island called “Passaro’s Pizzeria,” died Dec. 21, 2020.
William E. Sheridan Jr., 78, a St. Peter’s Boys High School graduate who served in the Marine Corps and went on to coach basketball at the high school and college level, and professionally in Europe, died Dec. 26, 2020.
