Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre/CKDR File Photo The Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre has the opportunity to further its vision of being a Centre of Excellence in First Nations and northern health care. The SLMHC has been recognized as a pre-designate Best Practice Spotlight Organization through the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario. For the next three years, SLMHC will participate in a robust work plan to reach designation and provide quality, evidence-based care. Director of Patient Experience and program lead Sue Anderson says patients and families can expect to see improved engagement by implementing best practice guidelines into their policies.
